What She Said x A Wrinkle in Time

In 2016, W Hotels Worldwide launched a dedicated initiative aimed at creating an environment where women could come together to discuss important issues and network. Always ahead of the curve, What She Said is W’s global speaker series featuring women across multiple fields to celebrate their stories and providing opportunities for valuable connections.

 This February, the hotel brand partnered with Disney to create an exclusive panel discussion with award-winning director, Ava Duvernay, in advance of the studio’s latest blockbuster, A Wrinkle in Time. Held at W Hollywood, The Gathery developed and produced an intimate event for select influencers and VIPs. From a welcome wall turned step-and-repeat featuring custom poster artwork inspired by the women’s equality movement to a geodesic illuminated stage, our design intended to break the fourth wall to create an inviting space where guests and speakers could share an engaging evening together.
