Cultivating Community

In partnership with Chef Omar Tate, Bombay Bramble launched Cultivating Community: a dinner series in support of Black farmers. Centered around the values of ancestry and reclamation, the dinner educated and nourished guests with a poetic ode told through food. Held at Williamsburg’s Oko Farms, The Gathery created a narrative that highlighted the brand’s identity and celebrated our chef and farm partners. With a breathtaking New York city skyline backdrop, guests gathered at a striking communal table to celebrate the community.

The printed menu is designed as a series of poems, seemingly torn from the spine of a book. As the evening progressed, a new poem was unveiled at every course.

During cocktail hour guests could select the playlist from a series of vinyl records curated by Chef Omar Tate.

Reminiscent of oil-paintings, abundant wild spring ‘still life’ arrangements ran the length of the table, complemented by bounties of fresh produce and berries.

Bombay Windows

Together with Bombay Sapphire, The Gathery reinterpreted the staple New York holiday window display to celebrate creativity and self-expression. Elaborately showcasing Shavanté Royster’s commissioned bottle artwork, the windows offered a spectacular setting for surprising live entertainment. The exceptional installation was unveiled with a series of in-window performances featuring the artist’s work, dancer Nicole Von Arx and fashion designer Romeo Hunt. The holiday window displays drove customers to experience seasonal joy with Bombay via QR codes when seasonal recipes were found.

Bringing a third dimension to Shavanté Royster’s artwork, windows came alive with engaging performances designed to spark curiosity.
